Draft 2

I changed the shape of my bridge from being a simple extrusion to a more interesting shape, which still retains the shape of the plan in section. I made a rough, semi-legible plan in pen over the top.

I spent some time building the Library, Student and Academic spaces, and mainly the Studio spaces which go up along one side of the bridge.

Below the studio spaces are shown in section. Stairs run alongside the rising arm of the bridge, with studio spaces on one side, and an indoor garden on the other. This will give the space a much nicer atmosphere, contrasting the desert on the outside.

On the top floor here is the library space, with the gallery space below it, and the lecture theatre and offices below that. To access the lecture theatre and office one must go through a glass spiral staircase, giving a view of the environment. On the top right are two rooms which act as meeting spaces for students and teachers. To get to these spaces there is a staircase which is an homage to Rem Koolhaas's stairs in Maison A Bordeaux, as he is one of the main architects of my theory.
